Passionate about fashion since childhood, iné’s founder, Audrey Delanoë, embarked on her entrepreneurial journey 10 years ago. Her search for sneakers that were both stylish and eco-friendly led her to create iné—vegan, contemporary, unisex, and sustainably made sneakers that perfectly embody her vision of ethical and lasting fashion.

“I want to shake up the codes of sustainable fashion — break away from the outdated image we still have of recycled products. My goal? To create fashion that’s ethical, vegan, unisex — and above all, desirable. The kind that makes you say: “Wow, that’s beautiful — and it’s sustainable too.” Sustainability shouldn’t be a legal checkbox, a feel-good slogan on a website, or a marketing pitch to ease our guilt when we buy something. No — it should be built into the product itself, woven into its very essence, coexisting with its beauty. To me, that’s the kind of mindset that inspires us to care more for what we own, make it last longer, and ultimately, consume less.

An early ecological awareness
Audrey Delanoë has developed a deep ecological sensitivity since her childhood, observing the progression of green algae in the Bay of Hillion, in Bretagne, where she is from.
“We often talk about our impact abroad — like the Atacama Desert in Chile, home to the world’s largest textile dump (visible from space). But the consequences of this ecological crisis are just as real here in France. The deterioration of the coastline where I grew up is just one example among many. This reality shaped my drive to improve the way we do things, rewrite the rules, and share that mindset with others.

One stitch at a time, a vision taking shape.
Audrey’s love for fashion comes from her mother, who spent over 25 years working in a garment workshop in Rennes. Growing up around fabrics, cuts, and careful craftsmanship sparked a deep connection to fashion and the art of textile making.
“Growing up with a seamstress mom and in a place like Brittany gave me a double legacy: a deep respect for the environment and a love for craftsmanship. That’s what inspired me to launch iné — a vegan sneaker brand born in 2024. Our mission? To prove that you can have style without compromising your values. We’re feeling hopeful — the project is starting to gain traction (featured in Cosmopolitan, Le Bonbon, Canal+…).

Imagining our first collection: retro-style sneakers built for today’s world — that’s iné.
Fully unisex, designed for everyday wear. Our sneakers are handmade in Portugal from recycled materials, with zero animal-based components — meaning they come with a low carbon footprint (5.58kg vs. 14kg of CO2 for typical production in Asia).
