Care instructions
As soon as you receive your pair of Vibes
To protect your shoes in advance, especially the fabric parts, you can use a water-repellent spray specifically designed for materials without animal products. Simply ask your cobbler, who will guide you to the right product.
Daily cleaning
To best care for your sneakers, start by removing dirt and dust using a soft shoe brush or a clean, damp cloth.

Hand cleaning
If you’re faced with a stubborn stain, don’t panic—plant-based materials clean up beautifully by hand. For white or coloured sneakers, use a non-abrasive sponge, cold water, and, if needed, a little mild soap.
For fabric sections, you can use a suitable rubber-bristle brush, rubbing gently.
For the outer soles, opt for a soft brush that has first been dipped in a cream cleanser.
Machine washing
We do not recommend machine washing, as it is very polluting and may damage your sneakers. If they are really dirty and you decide to go ahead anyway, make sure you have first cleaned them by hand. Use a gentle cycle designed for shoes, place them in a laundry bag, and add a towel to soften the impacts.
Disclaimer: Machine washing is at your own risk — we cannot be held responsible for any damage.

Air-dry your sneakers
Let your sneakers dry in the open air, away from direct sunlight and any heat sources (radiators, fireplaces, hair-dryers). This will help preserve the colors and the construction of your shoes—the glues, soles, and linings. Excessive heat can melt or warp the materials used.
No tumble dryer!
Besides being extremely polluting, a tumble-dryer will ruin your sneakers! So steer clear of this option—as well as any products that contain grease, wax, or oil.
Wear your iné as long as possible
Because your sneakers deserve just as much care as a pair of so-called “city” shoes, don’t hesitate to offer them beautiful shoe trees ! This will keep them in shape when you're not wearing them.

The Repair Fund
Launched by ReFashion at the request of the public authorities, this programme sets up a Repair Fund whose goal is to encourage consumers to have their shoes and textiles repaired. When you have your sneakers fixed, you can therefore take advantage of the “Repair Bonus” discounts to extend the life of your Iné sneakers! Ask your certified cobbler for details.
